 On December 19, 2025, Dr. Paul Kononoff, Dairy Nutrition Extension Specialist, University of Nebraska, Lincoln presented: "Forages: what do we know and what are we learning about feeding alfalfa to dairy cows?"   He presented on the effects of increasing the proportion of LoL alfalfa hay in diets fed to lactating dairy cows.

The Four-State Dairy Nutrition & Management Conference webinar series continued on August 13, 2025 and featured Dr. Alycia Bales with Caledonia Farmers Elevator in Caledonia, MI reviewing the use of high oleic soybeans in dairy rations.  She works with a team of ruminant nutritionists where she helps to be a bridge between applied research and on-farm practical solutions.
